8th Annual Biomimicry Education Summit

Start:
Sun, 2015/10/04
Location:
Austin, Texas

The Biomimicry Institute is hosting an exciting day of learning Sunday, October 4, 2015 at Austin’s Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center – and we want you to be part of it!

In collaboration with members of the Biomimicry Education Network (BEN), this day of interactive learning at a unique venue is intended for educators of all kinds, working with populations from youth to university, and professional groups.

Mark your calendars and plan to join us for hands-on workshops, presentations, and networking the day before the Institute’s special biomimicry track at the SXSW Eco conference kicks off.

Participants will share and gain knowledge of practical approaches, and will discuss recent trends in biomimicry education, outreach and dissemination. The day will include a keynote, concurrent sessions, opportunities to interact with finalists from the Biomimicry Global Design Challenge, and networking.
