BioM Innovation Database

U/Guelph logoThe University of Guelph BioM Innovation Database collects biomimetic products (from concept to commercial availability) to support research and enable development of detailed case studies.  When complete, the database will be published in the university's open access data repository.

The database currently contains nearly 400 cases – we need your help to keep it growing and ensure it accurately reflects the landscape of biomimetic innovation.  Login to the BID Community website (website registration is free), download the list of cases already in the database (Excel spreadsheet attached to this document) and check out recently submitted cases listed below.   The list can be sorted on the first three columns by clicking on the column headers.  A simple search feature is included to filter the list cases based on one or more keywords.

If you know of a case that we have missed, please click on the Create / BioM Case link in the left navigator to create a new case entry.
