Position: Regenerative Designer
Location: Guelph, Ontario (working remotely until further notice)

Reports to: President, Biomimicry Frontiers 
The Opportunity: As our Regenerative Designer, you will be the lead in telling the story of landscapes and identifying creative strategies for how to best integrate within them.

What you’ll do:

• Lead our unique landscape assessment (Living Story), which includes:
• GIS data mapping and flow modeling (e.g. solar, wind, hydrological, geological, topographical)
• Socio-ecological asset mapping
• Ecological performance assessments
• Resiliency mapping - threats and pressures, opportunities and trajectories
• Economic forecasts of ecological services and climate change impacts
• Map climate simulations and performance of existing and proposed buildings
• Be our go-to for resilient land use planning strategies and designs
