BioInspired! So What? Now What!

This is the second of two sessions held as part of Sofia Design Week.  It is intended for students aged 13 to 18.

In the first part of the workshop participants will examine different organisms. In the second part participants will focus on the cards with man-made objects and need to come up with a new function of these objects, by playing around with their design, with the power of imagination, and applying the same processes, observed in the first part. At the end participants will have the opportunity to prepare a prototype of the modified object with plasticine or another suitable material.

The class will be led by Kamelia Miteva of Bio Games, a professional biologist with a specialization in biomimicry (also trained facilitator).
