BioInspired! So What? Now What!

This course is intended for professionals and students who want to learn about biomimicry, as a new discipline, its proven methodology and it’s potential to apply in daily practice.

Overview workshop program
Day 1
9 November (9:00 - 17:00)
Introduction to:
- The field of biomimicry
- Critical success factors of evolution: Life's Principles
- Integrating Biology into Design methodology

Day 2+3
10-11 November (9:00 - 17:00)
- Hands-on exploration of Life's principles and the methodology of using Nature as Mentor, Model and Measure
- Practical deep dive into case studies
- Group design challenge using foundations of biomimicry learned in Day 1
- Utilise Life's Principles as a design, scoping and evaluation tool
