Biomimicry Fellowships (http://www.uakron.edu/ib/scholarships/biomimicry-fellowships.dot)

Fellowships for January of 2014 are targeted for Fellows who will be paired with K12 teachers, to enable co-development of biomimicry curricula for STEM middle and high school students. Biomimicry Fellows will engage in normal PhD research, but also spend 16-20 hours per week working in and out of the classroom with their teachers. This model was developed through extensive experience during an NSF GK-12 project at the University of Akron. In effect, the Biomimicry Fellowship takes the place of a standard Teaching Assistantship as a means of support during your PhD (5 year program and fellowship).

Applications are currently being accepted and will continue to be reviewed until the positions are filled. Inquire or apply soon if you are interested, the fellowships are limited.
