BioInspired! So What? Now What!

To reduce conflict with Zygote Quarterly issues, I plan to publish the BioInspired! newsletter around the middle of February, May, August and November.  As a result, the June issue was skipped and the next issue will come out in August.  If you have any articles or ideas for articles, please let me know - I am always interested in 'first-person' highlights of conferences and workshops (such as the Education Summit) that I could not attend.

Is there interest in participating in a series of regular online discussions on bio-inspired design?  Anyone who has registered on the BID Community website can participate and the topic would be determined by the participants.  A topic I would like to explore is exactly what we mean by a 'BID Community'.  I recommend that we try Google+ Hangout, a free audio/video conferencing service that supports up to 10 participants and is supported on a wide range of platforms. 

A bunch of website updates were installed on Sunday morning and more updates are planned for this upcoming Sunday.  So far, testing has revealed only minor issues that could be easily corrected.  Please report any unexpected website behavior - you can reply to this e-mail or use the Contact Us link at the bottom of every page.
