BioInspired! So What? Now What!

The Systemology Cluster of NASA VINE has collated a list of over 25 tools to aid in bio-inspired design. NSWG members have been working on a set of tags for each tool to represent the activities / approaches the tool provides. Our goal is to map these tools to standard SE activities.

One result of this process is learning how the various tools represent biological information. The ontology that Julian Vincent created allows us to visually see the mappings. We will look at different views and discuss how these might inform SE practice.
