October 9/2014 Update

My hosting provider suffered a major meltdown on October 8th starting around 15:00 EDT due to a Distributed Denial of Service attack against the servers that handle name resolution.  Although the BID Community, BioDreamMachine, Biomimicry Info and Zygote Quarterly websites were up, the locations of the websites could not be resolved, effectively cutting off traffic.  Emails sent to the domains associated with these sites would also fail, as well as any emails sent from these domains.  Service was restored around 21:45 EDT.  I got a flurry of queued emails late last night but please re-send any urgent requests if I do not respond sometime today.  Unfortunately the Internet is no longer a 'warm and fuzzy' place.

Prof. Carlos Montana Hoyos (University of Canberra) has a student looking for our help in the relationship of biophilia and furniture design:

Please support our PhD student Ms. Nurul Ayn Ahmad Sayuti, by answering her questionnaire in the link below.  It should not take more than 20 minutes to answer the questionnaire, and your support will be very valuable for her study.
