The Biomimicry Institute is presenting its third Biomimicry Student Design Challenge. This one is available to more students than the last two challenges, and provides prizes for the winners. Funded by the Merck Family Fund, the challenge asks students around the world to form interdisciplinary teams and use biomimicry to design a solution that results in more efficient energy utilization and ultimately reduces greenhouse gas emissions, ideally in their local environment. The Institute will provide some training, tools, and resources to help students and faculty apply biomimicry to their design process.
