The workshop will be jointly organized by the University of Manchester and Jilin University.
 
The attendees in the workshop will present and discuss new progress and ideas largely in bionic science and engineering. The workshop will focus on but not limited to the following topics:

  • Biomimetic surfaces
  • Biomimetic machinery
  • Biomimetic materials
  • Bionic healthcare engineering
  • Biologically inspired robotics
  • Life-like sensing, actuation and computation
  • Biomimetic design methodologies

Program Handbook for IWBE2021 (2021/09/16 to 2021/09/17)

From the ISBE Secretariat:

We are glad to inform you that the 2021 International Workshop on Bionic Engineering (IWBE 2021) jointly organized by the ISBE and the University of Manchester will be held on Sept. 16-17 via ZOOM software platform. The workshop arranges presentations for all the 73 accepted papers in two parallel sessions, together with 3 plenary and 18 keynote presentations. 
 
We sincerely invite you to attend this event and communicate online. Attached please kindly find the handbook including the access information as below for your reference. It should be noted that the time in the schedule refers to UK TIME.
