If you are wondering what happened to my idea of converting to a static website, I got sidetracked learning about "AWS serverless", an Amazon service that allows me to host static websites without requiring a server.  It has been a "learning experience" but I am making progress although there are still some issues.  My plan is to offload the existing static websites first, then convert/offload the dynamic websites, starting with the ones that are relatively simple.  The BID Community will be last on the list due to its complexity, so I do not have even a ballpark estimate on when that will be started.
