Marjan Eggermont, Dr. Vik Shyam and Dr. Al Hepp, are co-editors of a new book to be published by Elsevier on Biomimetics in Aerospace. This volume will address various aspects of biomimicry in aerospace including systems engineering, artificial intelligence, propulsion and power, communication and robotics, and life in hostile environments.

As an expert in applied biomimicry, I’m writing to ask if you would be interested in contributing to the book, or expanding upon this topic and contributing a chapter to the volume.  We have a deadline of October 1 to finalize our table of contents for the book; a first draft of a chapter is tentatively due on May 1, 2020.

Our Elsevier editorial colleagues will be able to provide more details if you are interested or require further information. If you do not have the time or inclination to contribute, any recommendations for colleagues who you consider to be appropriate chapter authors would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to hearing from you, hopefully with your indication of willingness to contribute.
