BioInspired! So What? Now What!

Since the last update on January 6, we have added another 17 registered users.   Three papers have been reviewed in the Literature Exchange forum.  Systemic risk in banking ecosystems requires a subscription to the journal or a 'single use' payment (see Accessing Papers Reviewed in 'Literature Exchange').  The following two papers that are particularly relevant to the practice of bio-inspired design can be freely downloaded:

• Bio Inspired Design of an Electric Scooter Body
• Nature Inspired Design: Strategies Towards Sustainability

Work on the March newsletter is progressing. The results of the January 25th Skype conference call has been incorporated into Turning Ideas into Reality and a new article The HOK/Guild Partnership and the FIT Process has been posted.

Testing of a system using PayPal to handling the quarterly subscription is under way. Please review the BID Community Policies & Guidelines (now finalized).
