Randy Anway is contributing a review of Dicks' The Biomimicry Revolution: Learning from Nature How to Inhabit the Earth to the next issue of Zygote Quarterly.  The book is not an easy read - Dicks' talk on the 12th may provide a more accessible summary of the material.
