The Revolutionary Technology Programs (RTP) organization of Lockheed Martin's Skunk Works is soliciting exceptionally qualified candidates to support cutting edge research in the area of novel electromagnetically responsive surfaces. The successful candidate lead tasks to tackle critical R&D challenges as part of an interdisciplinary team and should possess a strong understanding in the following areas: nano/micro self-assembly techniques, and thin film deposition and characterization. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a larger team of other scientists and engineers is critical. Creativity and blue-sky thinking are highly encouraged to solve complex challenges in a fast-paced and exciting environment.

**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications:

• Recent Bachelor's degree in physics, chemistry, or a related technical discipline
• Experience with self-assembly techniques
• Hands-on laboratory experience with optical, x-ray, or infrared characterization of thin films 
• Experience with Matlab or Labview
