March 30/2017 Update

Migration of the BID Community website to encrypted HTTP (HTTPS) was completed yesterday.  Browsers should now show a 'lock' symbol on the address bar for all BID Community website pages, and all website interactions will be encrypted by the browser (particularly important for passwords and other login information).  No changes are required on your part - the website will automatically switch to HTTPS for you.  If you see any issues with how pages are displayed or get any browser warnings, please let me know ASAP.

There is one 'gotcha' - the technology I used to implement HTTPS support only supports one level of subdomain (the bioinspired. part).  You may see errors if you prefix the BID Community website address with www. - the easiest solution is to save some keystrokes and drop the prefix.
