This page allows BID Community members to login with their Google credentials.  Once migration and testing are complete, the Google icon below will move to the left navigator, allowing members to login faster and also create BID Community accounts more easily.  Please do not click on the icon below until you have completed the Initial Setup instructions.

 

Initial Setup

Linking your Google identity to your BID Community account avoids creating duplicate BID Community accounts.  Note: this process does not reveal your Google password.

1. Login to your BID Community account using your username/password.  Request a new password if required.  Contact me if you have forgotten your username.
2. Click on the My account link in the left navigator and then the HybridAuth tab. 
3. Under Add more identities, click on the Google icon. 
4. You will be prompted by Google to confirm which Google account you want to link.  If you are not currently logged in to Google, you will be prompted to do so. 
5. When you return to the HybridAuth page, you should see that Google is now enabled as an Authentication Provider.

To test the new login feature, click on the Log out link in the left navigator, then open https://bioinspired.sinet.ca/google again.  Click on the Google icon above.  You should be automatically logged in without needing to enter your username and password.
