BioInspired! So What? Now What!

We have had a request to provide Biomimicry Content for 2012 National Training Conference (April 11-12, Washington, D.C.).  For more details on the conference, see Request for a Biomimicry Presentation.  If you are interested, the deadline for submitting a 300 word abstract is Nov. 19/2011.

The Algae Competition team submitted the entry Algae Connects: Simulating a Future of Growth for Recovering Communities to the 2011 International Algae Competition on October 22nd.  Articles on the entry as well as the process that the team followed are planned for the December BioInspired! newsletter.

See Bioneers Conference 2011 - Dayna Baumeister for a pointer to Dayna's plenary talk at Bioneers.  The 2012 Biomimicry Specialty Certificate Program Application Ends Nov.11 and 1-day Backyard Biomimicry Workshop is scheduled for Houston, Texas on November 14th.
